What is Hampton Roads Pride?

Hampton Roads Pride is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to empowering the LGBTQIA+ community and promoting diversity, inclusion, and equality in the region. We organize events like PrideFest, Pride at the Beach, and year-round initiatives to support our community.

Hampton Roads Pride serves the Hampton Roads region of Virginia, including the communities of Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Hampton, Newport News, Williamsburg, Suffolk and surrounding counties.

How do I join the Board?

Our all-volunteer Board is elected by individual members and made up of people with diverse professional backgrounds. To be eligible to serve on the Board, you must be a member with volunteer experience. Board members if elected will serve a term based on election results. View more about the Board here.

When is PrideWeekend 2025?
